Addis Ababa, September 23, 2018 (GCDC) - The Ministry of Culture and Tourism (MoCT) said this year’s World Tourism Day will be celebrated in Gambella regional state of Ethiopia.

World Tourism Day, celebrated every 27 September around the world, is a unique opportunity to raise awareness on tourism’s actual and potential contribution to sustainable development.

In a press conference issued today, State Minister of Culture and Tourism, Buzena Alkedir, said this year’s celebration will focus on wide agendas of togetherness, peace, and love launched at the national level.

According to her (MoCT) has induced technological advancements in the tourism sector to scale up its contribution to the country’s economy.
